Restaurant Policy


RESTAURANT POLICY

Welcome in our restaurant “FANARI in Oia”, located in our resort FANARI VILLAS. It is advised that a reservation is made in advance. Safety and relaxation are our first priorities so you can enjoy our “islandish homy” atmosphere.



OPERATING HOURS:

Daily from 16:00 -23:00 {22:30 last order}.


DINING AREAS

Our restaurant has four different outdoor dining areas on different levels and one fifth indoor dining room. All outdoor areas are open air sea, caldera and sunset circle view.

As we have limited space all guests are expected to sit in the pointed area and table.


SMOKING

Smoking (including electronic tobacco products) is not allowed indoors.


DRESS CODE

Dress code is elegant smart casual; kindly refrain from wearing flip flops during dinner service. Any guest that does not meet the dress code requirements may be refused entry.


SPECIAL OCCASIONS

Please tell us if you are celebrating any special occasion when you make your reservation, and our team will create a memorable moment for you, (table set up with candles or flowers or celebration cake can be arranged under cost)

RESERVATIONS

Reservations can be accepted

All guests wishing to make a reservation, must be willing to provide their authentic personal information, such as:

  • full name
  • location of staying
  • email address
  • personal contact number (preferably mobile one)
  • credit / debit card details, in written
  • Covid certificate, upon arrival
  • Id/passport upon arrival, upon arrival

Reservation for parties of 8 or more we need a custom - preselected menu.


CHILD POLICY

For our dinner service only, please note we welcome young diners as well but we request special parental care.


DIETARY RESTRICTIONS

It is suggestable and more than welcome an information concerning any dietary restrictions (allergies or nutritional problems). Please indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions when making your reservation.


CORKAGE

We offer a selection of wines from the island and in general from Greece. Please note that we do not permit guests to bring/consume any drink except those of the restaurant.


MOBILE PHONE – Wi-Fi

Mobile phone use is allowed but no SKYPE or VIBER or any other air-live phone meetings, trying to keep the serene atmosphere and respecting all our guests.


PHOTOSHOOTING

If you wish, we may assist you in taking memorable photos without wondering between tables and without interrupting views by respecting your neighboring diners.


FINANCIAL

All credit cards are accepted, except AMEX, Union Pay & Diners.

Prices and menus are subject to change without notice.

A non-refundable deposit fee, for the confirmation of booking, is needed due to a limited seating. The demanding amount is 50,00 euro and has to be paid in advance through credit/debit card or even in cash. (A credit card form will be sent to be filled in). Amount will be kept in case of non-shows or untimely. Failure to receive card approval will result in automatic cancellation of the reservation.

The deposit which will be charged on the credit/debit card or paid in cash will be deducted from the total cost of your dinner.

Due to high demand and very limited number of front raw tables there is a minimum menu consumption demand of 50,00 euro per person and doesn’t include beverage / tip for booking one of those tables.

In case you’re not able to honor the made reservation or if you wish to amend it or to adjust the number of participating guests, we are kindly request to notify us either by phone +22860 71008 or by email reservations@fanarivillas.gr but not later than 24 hours prior to your reservation time.

One day prior to your booking we will contact you by a telephone or email or sms to confirm your attendance.


LATE ARRIVALS

We understand that unexpected events do occur. If your party is running late, please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you and your guests.

Reservations will be held strictly only for 15 minutes, in order to maintain a consistent high-quality level service treatment for our guests and for having tables released for other walk-in’s guests. This term is subject to change pending on demand or availability.

Guests arriving later than 15 minutes after the booking time, may be placed on a waiting list for the next available table, upon availability.


GIFT CARDS

If you would like to give someone the gift of experiencing our restaurant “Fanari in Oia”, in Fanari Villas, you may order an electronic gift card. Please feel free to contact us for more information.


CORONA SEASON!

Complying to the guidelines by the Greek National Health Organization and Greek Government we follow and strictly comply to protocols for your and our own safety. We will be evolving our guidelines based on announcements from government’s authorities.

Please note that

  • Guests allowed only by presenting the three times vaccination certificate or the certificate that had been got sick.
  • An identification document such as ID or passport will be requested.
  • Maximum number guests per table is 6. For reservations of over 6 people, the seating will take place in more than one table.
  • A certified disinfection procedure of COVID-19 has already taken place in the entire facility.
  • All customers are required to wear obligatory high protection masks while on premises, for inside and outside areas.
  • Also it is required to keep social distance a minimum of one meter, depending on government regulations.
  • Hand Sanitizing liquids are provided per table. Extra hand sanitizing liquids are placed both inside and outside different public spots and are to be used before being seated at your table.
  • Throughout the day cleaning and disinfection procedures are followed especially to surfaces touched by staff and guests, like handles, doors, tables, chairs, switchers, POS machines, pens, etc.
  • Our staff wears masks at all time and has been fully vaccinated, takes a weekly Rapid test and tests the daily temperature prior scheduled working hours.
